Preparedness and Readiness

The Syrian Society for Social Development in Al Hassakeh Governorate announces it preparedness and readiness to provide required support and response to the force majeure and internal displacement-taking place in the northeast border areas of Al Hassakeh due to the Turkish aggression.

The team is present in the border areas with Turkey to the north, Iraq to the east, Deir Ez-Zor Governorate to the south, and Al Raqqa Governorate to the west.   


The team comprises 156 members including staff and volunteers, who are experienced in humanitarian emergency response. The team receives support from other teams attached to other governorates across Syria.
