On the occasion of World Autism Day, and under a title befitting the dignity of existence: "Autism and Humanity... Every Life Has Value" the team of the Syrian Society for Social Development from the "Beit Al-Yasmin" Center in Baniyas came forth to hold a recreational celebration unlike any other, but rather a kinetic interpretation of shared joy.
They gathered children with disabilities together with their families and peers, in a space where social and motor games intertwined not merely for amusement, but as a workout for the soul before the body, and a means to revive interaction and render play a silent dialogue. Then they delivered awareness messages about autism, not as dry preaching, but as a whisper into the ear of collective consciousness, reminding that difference is not a deficiency, but rather one of the diverse faces of humanity.
