In view of the importance of education for children and on the occasion of the new school year, the SSSD PSS team (Hear My Heart Program), in cooperation with UNHCR Syria, held at the Harmony House and Butterfly Effect community centers at Jaramana, Rural Damascus, an awareness session entitled the New School Year. The session aimed at raising women’s awareness about the importance of enrolling children in school and learning the correct approach to prepare them to attend thereat. The session also highlighted the issue of school-dropout, providing women with information on the B Curriculum for dropouts and late-school children.
