The SSSD Aleppo WASH team visited the team responsible for the cleanness of the city at the Aleppo City Council in order to meet garbage men and honor them for the work they do throughout the year on a daily basis. A personal hygiene basket was provided to each worker in recognition of the worth of cleaners and their indispensable role in our lives. SSSD representatives also presented a Gratitude & Appreciation Certificate to distinguished workers selected by the Municipality, and then presented special Shields to the Director of the Media and Cultural Office of the Aleppo City Council, Eng. Andelip Qaraeesh, to the Director of the Hygiene Department, Eng. Yahya Dau, and to the Aleppo City Council, represented by its Chairman Eng. Aiman Hallaq, in recognition of the vitality of a 3-year-old fruitful cooperation. The Event was broadcast live on Syrian Television.
