Since SSSD believes strongly in the importance of adolescents’ roles in society, it constantly endeavors to develop and nurture their skills. From that, the team of the Syrian Society for Social Development (SSSD) carried out a theatrical performance entitled "Half of the Community and More" at the end of the Interactive Theatre Programme.

The performance presented one of the biggest problems faced by adolescent girls, namely harassment and deprivation of education, whereby the problem was highlighted and solutions were then presented.

At the end of the performance, the interaction of the attendees was positive, as they shared their opinions on how to solve the problems. One of them said:” A lot of things changed in me… I became stronger, more confident, and able to solve my problems. I started expressing my opinion without being afraid, and wasn’t shy anymore.”
