She set off her journey on the World Children's Day, where the Syrian Society for Social Development in cooperation with UNHCR, implemented an awareness-raising activity with the participation of the famous cartoon character Dora in the World Children's Day, "Small Steps" campaign at Ward Jury center-Banias.

The activity targeted a group of children in Shem Al-Bahr area, who is difficult to communicate with them by phone.

The session included introducing children to the World Children's Day and their rights, the children interacted during the session and they shared their views.

With the aim of supporting the educational process in rural areas and protecting children from the dangers of moving from Touq El Melh village to the city to enroll in schools as a result of school closures in Touq El Melh village, as well as protecting them from the dangers of school dropout and the resulting ambiguity of the children's future and their entry to work at an early age.
