Duha, a 10-year-old Down syndrome girl, came to al-Salam Center and followed the Portage Program in the context of home-based rehabilitation.

This contributed significantly to the development of her cognitive concepts and skills.

Through her participation in the Friendship Groups for PwSN, she developed fine motor and social skills.

The commitment of Duha, as well as her family’s, culminated in her admission into primary school and her enrollment in grade 1 after taking a placement exam at the Ministry of Education.
