The program aims to follow up cases that need interventions, especially after a traumatic experience due to displacement.
The program starts from monitoring people and assessing their needs, in order to enable them to identify and consolidate their strengths.
The sessions range from psychological first aid to various interventions, extending through follow-up and referral, and ending with closure. Individual counseling sessions are conducted by SSSD staff trained on prevention and response to GBV, basic PSS and counselling skills.
Support to women includes PSS (individual counselling and peer support), material support (including cash assistance for the most vulnerable), and referral to legal counselling and legal interventions.
